First warning: I’m a horrible dancer.
Second warning: That doesn’t seem to stop me. I do love to dance at weddings. Maybe I just like to make people laugh.
I’m a big fan of fun people and honest moments, perhaps why I love photographing weddings. There’s plenty of both to go around. Throw in a dance floor and cover band, and I’m ready to rock & roll.
As for my résumé, well it includes 10 years as a newspaper photographer in my home state of Oregon – the final seven as a staffer for The (Portland) Oregonian. In 2007, I was part of a group effort that earned us a Pulitzer Prize. Sadly, that award doesn’t also recognize me for my unique dance moves.
